California CASA is closely monitoring the COVID-19 crisis and its impact on the 44 CASA programs of California. We are in constant communication with our CASA network, regularly providing updates and resources to help all our local programs effectively navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.  All donations to CA CASA help us in that effort. 

At California CASA, we believe that every child in foster care in our state who needs a CASA volunteer should have one.

On average, it costs only around $2,500 per year to recruit, train, and supervise a CASA volunteer to provide a child in foster care with priceless mentoring, support, and advocacy. Your investment in the California youth of today ensures strong communities in the future and allows us to multiply our efforts across the state.

When you invest in California CASA, you’re investing in our network of programs. We leverage your support to strengthen 44 local CASA programs in 51 California counties with regional marketing, legal support and staff and volunteer training. We also promote CASA at the state and national level as an effective, cost-efficient, and compassionate resource that serves our most vulnerable population: children in the California foster care system.

Tribute Donation

Why not commemorate a special event by making a donation to California CASA?

You may donate in honor or memory of a loved one, or mark a birthday, anniversary, or other special occasion. A Tribute gift is expression of gratitude andd admiration. If you request, California CASA will send a letter to the individual you designate, acknowledging your generosity in their honor. Please let us know the occasion, the person’s name, and their contact information.

We have made it easy to donate online! Be sure to check the Tribute Gift checkbox and fill in all the information.

Employer Matching Gift Program

Many companies will match your gift to California CASA dollar-for-dollar or even more! An Employer Matching Gift Program allows the employer to match your donation and allows you, as an employee, a say in where your employer directs its philanthropy.

Legacy Donation/Estate Gifts

Legacy donors choose to donate for many reasons: some have supported CASA throughout their lifetime and want to continue that support, while others may wish to memorialize a friend or loved one in a way that will last. Whatever your reason, you may be assured that your legacy gift will make our state’s CASA community a better place into the future.

Please consider making a legacy gift by including California CASA Association in your will or trust. Your planned gift will keep on giving for generations to come. Here is suggested wording:
