KEVIN GARDNER is a marketing consultant in Silicon Valley with more than 30 years of experience in product marketing and communications in the areas of semiconductors, networking and decision support software. Before rejoining the board, Kevin served as a California CASA board member for 18 years, including Chair for three of those years. Kevin also served on the board of Child Advocates of Silicon Valley for 16 years. When Kevin was introduced to CASA in 1996, he became a CASA volunteer for two teenage boys aged 15 and 17, until they were emancipated from the foster care system at 18. Kevin also served on the Steering Committee of Adolescent Counseling Services’ Outlet Program, which provides support for LGBTQ youth. National CASA awarded Kevin Board Member of the Year in 2005 for his service to Child Advocates and again in 2022 for his service to California CASA. Kevin was honored by the Silicon Valley Association of Fundraising Professionals with its Distinguished Volunteer award in 2002 and again in 2004. He resides in Palo Alto.
