founder and firm managing partner of Albert & Mackenzie

BRUCE H. ALBERT is the founder and firm managing partner of Albert & Mackenzie, a statewide law firm focused on defending workers’ compensation claims for employers and insurance carriers. His connection to foster youth began in 2012 after reading a Los Angeles Times article about Peace4Kids, a small nonprofit in Compton that brings foster youth together in a supportive weekend community, prompting him to volunteer, serve on the Peace4Kids Board, and eventually search for a way to be even more hands-on.

Bruce became a CASA in 2017. His work with foster youth has fueled his commitment to raise awareness within his own professional circle, encouraging more attorneys, law firms, and other legal professionals, to step into advocacy roles for foster youth.

In 2025, Bruce launched the inaugural Albert & Mackenzie Charity Golf Tournament, raising more than $100,000 for CASA and other foster youth nonprofits. What began as a simple idea to bring people together for a good cause quickly became a powerful community moment. Bruce hopes to grow the tournament into an annual tradition with expanding reach and impact.

Born and raised in New York, he moved to Los Angeles in 1987 to attend Southwesters Law School. He lives in Agoura Hills where he and his wife raised 3 children.
