ANNE FARRELL, supports California CASA in a part-time role, working on special projects and strategic planning. From 2018 to 2023, she was Chief Philanthropy Officer, a period in which the organization nearly tripled its contributed revenue while also securing a $60 million three-year state appropriation. From 2010 to 2017, she was Chief Philanthropy Officer at Voices for Children, helping double the budget to $7 million and tripling the number of children served. She has had 50 years of successful fundraising experience in the arts, education, and CASA fields. In addition, she was adjunct professor in the University of San Diego’s nonprofit management graduate program and has trained and mentored many fundraising professionals throughout her career. She received her B.A. in art history from San Jose State University, attended the University of Florence during a year abroad, and is a graduate of the Getty Museum’s Leadership Institute, a program now affiliated with Claremont Graduate University.
