Get Involved

We’ve made getting involved in the CASA movement easy. Check out the variety of ways you can help a child in foster care thrive and succeed.

Volunteer as a CASA

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are community members, appointed by a juvenile court judge to speak out on behalf of a child. Most importantly, these volunteers provide stability and hope to abused and neglected children. Volunteering can make a real difference in your life and in the lives of those in your community.

Stand up for a child today. Your advocacy gives foster children a voice. Helping a child can begin here – become a CASA Volunteer. Take the first step, find your local CASA program today!

Make a Donation

Please consider making a donation today to support the thousands of foster children throughout the state. No matter how large or small the gift, each donation makes a difference and helps California CASA work toward a CASA for EVERY child who needs one. Donate today, take a look at our Ways to Give.

California Court Appointed Special Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All gifts are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. California CASA’s tax ID number is 68-0163010.

Become a Foster Parent or Adopt a Child

The best outcome for most children in foster care is to be permanently reunited with their family. However, at times this may not be possible. If you’d like to become more involved in a foster child’s life, please consider becoming a foster parent or adopting a child. Contact your local county Department of Social Services to learn more.

Every child deserves the chance to grow up in a safe and loving family.
