Immigration Issues and CASA Advocacy 1
In California, CASA volunteers, “represent the best interests of the children involved, and consider the best interests of the family.” 2 Therefore these FAQs are written from that perspective, in order to help CASA volunteers in California advocate for children and youth affected by immigration law and policy. If you have a special immigration related question, you can contact attorneys at the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) by emailing them at: firstname.lastname@example.org. Let them know you are a CASA!
