Everyone Can Help
Every child needs a network of caring adults and a supportive community
in order to thrive. From becoming a CASA volunteer to providing an
employment opportunity for a foster youth, everyone can make a
difference. To support CASA's part of the solution, you can:
BECOME A
VOLUNTEER
The best way to help children in foster care may be to become a CASA
volunteer yourself or to volunteer in your local program's office. To
find out if there is a program in your county, please check our
listing of
local programs. Your local
CASA program can tell you:
-
How to learn more
-
When and how to apply
-
How you will be screened to
ensure that this is the right volunteer job for you
-
How you will be trained for this
powerful and important role
-
How big of a time commitment you
will need to make
GIVE A
DONATION
If becoming a CASA volunteer is not for you, there are other ways to
help - including in-kind or financial donations to CalCASA or your local
CASA program. CalCASA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization.
All donations to our organization are tax deductible. We would be happy
to talk with you further about our work, the needs of foster children
and youth, and how the CASA movement serves them. Please feel free to
contact us. If
you already know that you would like to make a donation to CalCASA, you
may send your donation directly to us
by mail.
We are not able to accept online donations at this time.
